Oral Mucosa Lesions

Pre-referral work-up

History

All referrals should comply to the referral standards and include in particular:

• History of lesion: pain, incidental finding
• Smoking and alcohol history
• Areas of leukoplakia, mucosal swelling, non-healing lesions, recurrent ulceration

Tests

• OPG
• FBE
• U&E eGFr
• B12/Folate
• Iron Studies
