In Tasmania, you can get emergency care in all public hospitals and some private hospitals. We call these Emergency Departments.
Emergency Departments are for serious and life-threatening injuries and illnesses.
If you or your loved one are experiencing a serious and life-threatening injury or illness, call 000 immediately or go to the nearest Emergency Department.
