Diplopia

Pre-referral work-up

History

All referrals should comply to the Standard Referral guidelines and include in particular:

• Duration of condition
• Pain or no pain
• Details of cranial nerve examination
• Any history of ptosis or pupil change
• Eye movement examination
• History of thyroid or neurological disease

Tests

• Ophthalmologist or optometrist report when available
