History

Refer to a specialist when diagnosis is unclear and also for initial management and advice.

Biopsy to occur before referral to a specialist.

• Exclude insect bites and trauma as cause for blistering
• Prevent secondary infection

🚩 Patients with extensive blistering or who are systemically unwell
