Pre-referral work-up
History
Please refer known or suspected Vulval Cancer.
All referrals should comply to the outpatient information for clinicians page.referral standards and include in particular:
- Current symptoms if any
- Clinical findings (describe cervix)
- Results of biopsy of lesion, if performed. The clinic has facilities to carry this out on an outpatient basis
- CT scan of abdomen/pelvis and CXR for proven cancer
Tests
- Biopsy of lesion (if performed)
- CT scan of abdomen/pelvis
- CXR for proven cancer

Emollient creams if comfort required.
Topical analgesia gels can also be useful.

Newly diagnosed Vulval Cancer
