Laparoscopic Banding (Follow up)

Pre-referral work-up
History
Patients needing follow up of previous Lap Banding should be referred to the same clinic but will not need to attend the assessment process and will be directed to the appropriate clinic.
All referrals should comply to the referral standards and include in particular:
- Reason for referral in detail including date of original surgery and complications
Tests
- Dependent on reason for referral but should include basic health check and fitness for anaesthetic

Emergency
? Intractable vomiting: for intractable vomiting with lap band please arrange urgent review by a bariatric surgeon in their rooms and if not possible then in the Emergency Department after a phone call
