Pre-referral work-up
History
Must have three pathology confirmed UTIs in six months
All referrals should comply to the referral standards and include in particular:
- History of infections
- Urinary history including voiding dysfunction
- Prolapse symptoms
- Sexual, obstetric and surgical history
Tests
- Renal and bladder ultrasound

Consider use of vaginal oestrogen, cranberry, Hiprex and vitamin C, or Postcoital or low dose antibiotics.
