Information to be included in the referral
History
Generally, refer after third miscarriage or after second if maternal age over 38 or additional history of infertility
All referrals should comply with referral standards and include in particular:
- Detailed general medical history including past surgical details
- Detailed obstetric history
Tests
- TFTs, anti TPO, anti-thyroglobulin,
- HBA1c
- Prolactin,
- Lupus anticoagulant, anticardiolipin ab, anti b2 and glycoprotein antibodies
- Coeliac screen
- Vitamin D
- Consider semen analysis as teratospermia can be implicated
