Care@home
Care@home is a specialty support service in Tasmania for people with respiratory illnesses, like COVID-19, flu, RSV and flu-like illness.
It provides remote healthcare in the home for vulnerable patients with COVID-19 and other respiratory illnesses who meet specific referral criteria.
This includes older Tasmanians, Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people, pregnant women, and those with certain chronic health conditions. Children under 5 with certain health conditions are also eligible.
The service can arrange access to testing and antiviral medications if you are eligible.
It also provides advice and support for anyone caring for someone with COVID-19.
The service is accessed either through self-referral or by calling: 1800 973 363.
COVID@homeplus has recently changed its name to Care@home.
Care@home still provides the same high-quality remote healthcare in the home for people with COVID-19, flu or flu-like illness.
