Japanese Encephalitis virus (JEV) vaccination program

The Tasmanian Department of Health has secured a limited supply of JEV vaccines in response to the 2022 outbreak affecting south-eastern Australia.

Certain risk groups are being prioritised for vaccination based on nationally endorsed eligibility criteria.
