Advisory Forum
The TAZREACH Advisory Forum was established in accordance with the Rural Health Outreach Fund (RHOF) and Indigenous Australians Health Program (IAHP) Service Delivery Standards to:
- evaluate proposals presented by TAZREACH and provide expert advice to inform decision-making.
- provide endorsement for services under the RHOF informed by the RHOF Service Delivery Standards (final decisions sit with the Australian Government Department of Health)
- provide endorsement and/or non-endorsement used by the TAZREACH team to inform final approval for services under the MOICDP, HEBHBL and VOS informed by the IAHP Service Delivery Standards.
Advisory Forum membership
We are responsible for convening the Advisory Forum. Membership includes representatives from:
- state health authorities
- rural workforce agencies
- medical colleges or other relevant groups of health practitioners
- primary health networks
- consumer representatives
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health organisations
- local hospitals, community-based services, and local communities.
