Applications are now open for Aboriginal Health Worker Traineeship Program.
The Purpose of Funding is to:
Provide Tasmanian Aboriginal Controlled Organisations with funding for Aboriginal Health Worker (AHW) traineeships to build the AHW workforce and provide an entry point into health careers.
Total funding of $500,000 will be available each year, for up to three years to assist Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation to recruit new trainees and upskill existing employees to undertake qualifications as Aboriginal Health Workers/Practitioners.

Applications open on 9 September 2022 and will close at 5 pm on 24 October 2022.
