Departed an emergency department (ED) within 4, 8 or 12 hours is the percentage of patients who were transferred to an admitted patient ward within 4, 8 or 12 hours of arrival at an emergency department.
24 hours or more in an emergency department is the number of patients who were transferred to an admitted patient ward after spending at least one day (24 hours) in an emergency department.
Statistics on this page are reported by day of departure from an emergency department.
