Exercise Support Program for Cancer Survivors at the University of Tasmania
Cancer and cancer treatments bring about physical, emotional, and social issues that affect a person's body and quality of life. Exercise has been shown to be safe and effective in helping people cope with cancer and treatment side effects.

Dragons Abreast Northern Tasmania Inc (DANTI)
Dragons Abreast encourages wellness, fitness, fun and camaraderie for breast cancer survivors through the sport of dragon boating and promote breast cancer awareness throughout our community.
If you want to have fund, get fit, and make new friends, then dragon boating just might be the sport for you.
Dragons Abreast aims to:
- Promote breast cancer awareness and education
- Demonstrate that people can still lead a full and active life despite breast cancer
- Show that breast cancer does not discriminate on the basis of age or race
- Give a 'face' to and personalise the statistics
- Be inclusive of all breast cancer survivors who wish to participate
- Always encourage the search for a cure
