Nursing Now Challenge - Early Career Leadership
Applications for the 2024 Nursing Now Challenge are open 15 January - 11 February 2024
About the Nursing Now Challenge
The Department of Health, through the Office of the Chief Nurse and Midwifery Officer (OCNMO), provide leadership development opportunities for nurses and midwives working in Tasmania.
Early career nurses and midwives looking to develop their leadership potential are invited to apply for the Nursing Now Challenge. This program encourages early career nurses and midwives to stretch beyond their comfort zone and explore concepts and skills to build their leadership capability.
The Nursing Now Challenge is delivered as a series of webinars and complemented by a two-day workshop to explore practice development methodologies and a networking opportunity with colleagues.
The Nursing Now Challenge, formerly the Nightingale Challenge, was established in 2020, International Year of the Nurse and the Midwife.
Through the Nursing Now Challenge, nurses and midwives connect to learn, share, and reflect as they support each other on their leadership journey.
