Healthy Tasmania Fund

The Healthy Tasmania Fund (the Fund) is a grants program that supports community action on health and wellbeing in Tasmania. It supports the work of local government and community sector organisations who are well placed to know their community’s needs and priorities.

Healthy Tasmania grants

All Healthy Tasmania grants are now closed.

There are four Healthy Tasmania grant streams: Step Forward, Lift Local, Healthy Focus and Healthy Together. Both competitive and non-competitive funding and capacity-building activities are provided to respond to community needs. Grant streams have simple application and reporting processes, and support for organisations along the way.

Healthy Tasmania partners with Relationships Australia Tasmania to deliver the Neighbours Every Day Grant program to support and encourage people to connect with their neighbours to increase belonging and minimise loneliness.

We invite local Tasmanian community members, groups and organisations to apply for grants up to $1,500 that can be used to host neighbourly activities in your community.

Neighbours Every Day is a year-round campaign that encourages people across all communities to connect to increase belonging and reduce loneliness. The annual day of action for Neighbours Every Day is called Neighbour Day – celebrated on the last Sunday in March.
