What is lung cancer?
Lung cancer starts when abnormal cells grow and multiply in an uncontrolled way. There are two main types of lung cancer: Non-small Cell Lung Cancer and Small Cell Lung Cancer.

Many people with a lung condition find it hard to be physically active. Lung Boosters supports people to do this in a safe and comfortable way.
Lung boosters is an 8-week program held at the Northern Integrated Care Service (NICS building) 41 Frankland Street Launceston.
Any member of your health care team can refer you to lung boosters including your GP, ask one of your care team at your next appointment. - The Lung Foundation Australia offers a range of online information and support.
