1. Referral to assessment for suitability for obesity surgery clinic. Referral addressed to A/Prof John Burgess
2. Assessed by Dietician. Patient can withdraw any time.
3. Assessed by Psychologist. Suitable patients will be referred on.
4. Patient attends group education session. Patient can withdraw any time.
5. Patients deemed suitable are referred to surgeon for assessment.
6. Patient placed on surgical waiting list as Category 3 patient.
