This manual has been developed for staff of Education and Care Services to help them keep food safe for children in their care. It states what you have to do to comply with Tasmanian food safety laws. It also provides advice on good food safety practices for when laws do not apply or is not specific.
Please note: this manual will be updated to reflect new Food Safety Supervisor requirements that will apply to certain Education and Care Services from 1 March 2025.
