Services we provide
- Initial health assessment.
- Management of active health problems.
- Review of medications.
- Treatment of existing conditions, drug and alcohol issues.
- Mental health assessments.
- Preventative health programs, including sexual health education, drug and alcohol education, immunisation, lifestyle assessment and education.
- Advice on care for the frail, disabled or elderly in the prison system
- Inpatient care (drug and alcohol detoxification, relapse prevention, preoperative and post-operative care, management of infections, injuries, other low/medium health conditions).
- Medications and pharmacotherapy (S8).
- Outpatient allied health services referrals (forensic mental health, physiotherapy, dental, optometry).
