We want to hear from children, young people and families about how we can help children and young people feel safe and be safe when using our health services.
We are currently developing Department of Health (DoH) Child Safe Behaviours for all DoH workers (including volunteers, contractors and students) to follow. We would like you to tell us what we can do that helps children and young people to feel safe physically, emotionally, culturally and psychologically when using our healthcare services.
If you would like to give us your views:
- Access a simple survey
- Consent from your parent/guardian or significant person will be required
All responses will be sent to the Child Safety and Wellbeing Service and the information received will help us develop Department of Health Child Safe Behaviours for all DoH workers to follow.
The information will also be developed into material and resources for children, young people and families on what behaviours to expect when accessing our services.
Thank you for providing us with your ideas.
