Description:

The RespTas report presents detailed information about activity and trends of acute respiratory infections in Tasmania.

While monitoring by Public Health Services is continuous, the RespTas report is published weekly* during periods of increased seasonal influenza and RSV activity, and monthly (published 4-weekly) during inter-seasonal periods.

*The last weekly report for 2024 was published 1 November 2024.

Special focus reports may be provided as needed for increased activity of other infections, for example, whooping cough (pertussis).
