Pre-referral work-up
History
All referrals should comply to the outpatient information for clinicians page.referral standards and include in particular:
- Voiding issues of hesitancy, poor stream/flow, incomplete emptying, post-void dribbling, and incontinence
- Storage issues of frequency, nocturia, urgency, urge incontinence
- Also haematuria
- Recurrent UTI

- MSU micro and culture
- USS urinary tract
- PSA
- U&Es
- Voiding flow rate
- International Prostate Symptom Score
