Jack Jumper Program

The Royal Hobart Hospital is the state referral centre for Jack Jumper ant allergy. 

Jack Jumper ant venom immunotherapy (de-sensitisation) is available at the Royal Hobart Hospital at a specialised Jack Jumper Allergy Unit.

Treatment is also available at the North West Regional Hospital, however, patients must be stable on treatment before care is transferred from RHH to the low-risk clinic at NWRH.

Referral to Jack Jumper Program

A GP Referral is required for venom immunotherapy and access to the Jack Jumper program. A Specialist or ED referral will be accepted but will only cover the initial consultation (3 month referral). GP referral will be required for ongoing management.
